What are some good online music communities?

Something like Purevolume.com. I like Purevolume, but I find that the bands there are mostly e’mo’, as are the users…I have nothing against that style, it’s just not really like me. I mostly listen to alternative and folk music. So…

the best thing i ever did was sign up for last.fm. it takes all the music you like and kind of organizes it into what you listen to the most, and then gives you a bunch of recommendations.

Definately BUZZNET speacily if u like rock and alternative it is aweson u get to join groups and coummunities who like the same stuff as u and read interviews journals see videos and other stuff! like im in the tokio hotel fan group!
