US Army Sergeant First Class Kevin Dupont died today from wounds suffered when his Humvee was struck by an IED, on March 08, 2009. I did not know Kevin or his family, but I am mourning the loss of a good man, we are less for his going. R.I. P. Sir, and Thank You.

What happens to homes built by a builder who has gone out of business?
Everyday I drive by this little group of homes that a homebuilder who is now out of business built. No one lives is these homes and because the builder has gone under I don't know who to contact about purchasing one of the homes. Does anyone have any info on what i could possibly do to get one of these homes?

Builder borrowed money on the land. Bank foreclosed. Now bank owns the real estate.

Drive by and write down the address on the house. Then, go to the county appraiser's office in the county it is in and they should be able to tell you who is holding the paper on the house. Then, its just a matter of contacting that entity and work it out from there.

The bank that backed him owns them.
I doubt they have their finals though, it might be illegal for anyone to live in them.
